About Us

Illinois Works for the Future (IWF) campaign, launched by the Chicago Jobs Council in 2007, works with private and public partners statewide to integrate workforce and economic development. That means thinking outside the box about ways to deliver job skills training and workforce education in a way that is beneficial for workers, business, and communities.

The Illinois Works for the Future campaign is led by the Chicago Jobs Council along with a steering committee of statewide workforce leaders, and is currently endorsed by more than 120 organizations and individuals who are stakeholders in workforce and economic development across the state.
