Take Action To Help Build A Stronger Illinois
Three million adults in Illinois have less than a high school education while new jobs will require at least two years of post high school education or training. It is critical that the next governor invest in workforce development strategies. In order to take advantage of the approaching gubernatorial election, The Illinois Works for the Future (IWF) campaign and Chicago Jobs Council (CJC) has released policy recommendations for the state’s next governor.
Please consider taking action to support our policy recommendations. You can get involved in the following ways:
- Endorse the policy recommendations, as an individual or organization, by contacting Steve Simmons (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- Write a letter to the editor
- Send an e-mail to the campaigns
- Communicate with the campaigns on social media
Thank you for your continued support of IWF and CJC as well as your work to ensure employment and training opportunities for low-skilled job seekers is a top policy priority!
